Creating Your Dentures

When you visit the Brookswood Denture Clinic for your complimentary consultation you will be introduced to a highly trained Denturist. He will ask you many questions to assess your denture needs and your current situation. Your Denturist will explain what he can do for you in terms of fit, function and esthetics (the look of your denture). This appointment will give you the opportunity to meet the Denturist and find out what procedures and materials he can offer you. We consider many factors in order to make you a comfortable denture. Some of them are:

• The condition of the tissues in the mouth
• The condition of the bone structure in the mouth
• The shape and size of the mouth

In constructing your dentures we use only the finest materials and latest techniques. We take the time necessary to achieve the best possible results. It is common for most clients to visit the office between five and seven times.

The construction procedures the Denturist uses are critical in creating functional dentures. These procedures are never compromised. The minimum procedures we offer to create your dentures are:

• Preliminary impressions
• Final impressions
• Bite registration (inter-arch tracing or advanced face-bow registration)
• Wax try-in
• Completion

The Brookswood Denture Clinic uses the SR Ivocap Processing System to complete your dentures once you have accepted the wax try-in. While under constant pressure, the bases of your new dentures are injected with a high impact non-allergenic resin. This process maintains the accuracy achieved by the Denturist assuring the greatest fit and function for your new dentures.
